![]() ISO400, 1/800s, F6.3 This Olive Sided Flycatcher swooped down and missed a dragonfly and landed briefly right in front of me. His look made me feel like my days would have been numbered if I had been some likely prey !! I was not searching for this flycatcher at the time this image was captured but was just fortunate that our paths crossed at this moment when he was perched lower than normally is the case. Usually, Olive Sided Flycatchers sit very high on the uppermost branches of dead trees near a swamp where they swoop down for their insect prey. Please click for higher resolution. |
