Australian Bustard

Normally see the Australian Bustard (Ardeotis australis) in long grass, but this one was out on a farm airstrip (mowed paddock strip with a windsock). Looks to be a young male. The white splotches in the BG are a couple of other Bustards.

ISO1000, 840mm, f6.3, 1/4000, by Canon.

The bird nicely lit, excellent detail and the OOF birds in the background add to it.
