An oldie, taken during our visit to Scotland,  where we admired these birds diving for fish, and effortlessly speeding by in the wind with their enormous wings.

I'm very saddened and distressed by the news of the devastating effect of avian flu on these lovely creatures.

A lovely scene-they are magnificent birds. I hope the flu doesn't wipe them out. I remember seeing them at Cape Ann in Massachusetts some years ago.

I like your emphasis on the gannet with the oof hint of the boat below. A very effective image! Nicely done Sinuhe.

Everyhing seems to be at risk from some horrific disease/virus, what with Covid, Flu and various things attacking humans, and whatever else is emerging in wildlife like this horrible Avian Flu. Presumably with the warming temperatures around the world, it will be much easire to grow and spread these awful killers.
