I bought the Sony RX10m4 P&S camera a few months back, and I have to say I'm exceptionally impressed by what is possible when paired up with the Topaz suite of software (Gigapixel, DeNoise, and Sharpen). On the DLSR side of things I have the 1DX with the 100-400mm f4.5-5.6L II and 800mm f/5.6L lenses. I haven't touched the 100-400 since I've been using the RX10, and I doubt I will from now on. The RX10 is just way easier to backpack & kayak with.
Sony RX10m4, f/4, 573mm (35mm), 1/2500, ISO 400, -1.3EV, cropped to about 35% of original image. Click on image to see it full size. Happy Canada Day! |
