The Varanger Peninsula is a hot spot  for viewing White tailed eagles - on a short stretch of coastal road we counted close to a dozen individuals. This one remained around long enough for us to get a portrait snap shot, giving us a knowing gaze while we snapped away.

Great thinking to include the habitat Sinuhe.  Like your framing.  It makes it feel as if we are on the top of the world.

The framing with the out of focus foreground makes me feel like I'm peeking in to see the bird. It adds a bit of mystery and tells me the bird is wary. Very nice image.

Such amazing birds and I never realised just how huge they are until we saw them on Skye! A clever peep into their world with a lovely air of secretiveness, Sinuhe.
