After finding a family of Great Grays and 3 trips into the area I had yet to see an adult that wasn't delivering food and then vanishing.
The kids were both fed early and sought cover in the thicker trees. On my way out of the area Dad was perched 20 yards off the forest service road. My absolute lucky day.

Wonderful image, Terry, with exceptional lighting shown here. Some luck, perhaps, but I remember the saying that luck is when hard work meets opportunity, so I am sure that applies in your photography.

+1 Great quote that certainly applies to this series.
