This was the first time I was at the nest site when I was sure that the young had hatched.  The female came in and I was set to just shoot her entering the nest when the male unexpectedly also came in for just a moment and landed behind her. This was the only time in my many hours, over many days spent with them that I witnessed this occurrence. I wish the male was also in focus but there was too large a gap between them for this to happen so I'm posting this image as a lead in to the comings and goings at the nest as the series moves forward.

A wonderful capture to catch them together. A perfect illustration of the differences on show, between the male and female Warren. TFS.

a well timed shot to get both of them at the main entrance hole and to get a catch light in the eyes on both of them as-well, the added vegetation with-in the image is on the plus side, have fun WARREN.
