This is actually a male Common Yellowthroat Warbler in the middle of a preening session. This is just a fun image as it hit me that this shot looked like the character in the movie "Young Frankenstein". Quosimodo in one scene asked "hump, what hump ?" as the hump on his back moved from one side to the other. For anyone old enough to have seen the movie I hope you can relate to my thoughts when first seeing this shot.

Happy Father's Day to all the Dad's.

Yes, I remember the film with Antony Quinn, also red the book. Very interesting pose captured and the detail is outstanding.

a good one in the fresh vegetation leaves that gives it a natural look to the yellowthroat, well taken WARREN.

A very unusual and enjoyable image to view, Warren. ( The movie starred Gene Wilder and Peter Boyle, I believe- filmed in black and white as well ).

I know you are correct with Gene Wilder who starred in this Black and White film.  Marty Feldman was Igor, otherwise known as Quasimodo. I'll be posting more normal images starting tomorrow, lol.

The wonderful Gene Wilder!  What a star that man was, a rare talent.  :)   He was THE Willy Wonka, and I have lost count of the times I've watched 'Blazing Saddles'  - and it still makes me laugh!

Thanks for the smile, Warren!

Carol.
