While out pursuing the last Warblers of the Spring season, I fortunately ran across this accommodating Great Crested Flycatcher. I actually don't see them very often but hear them a great deal when visiting a few of my favorite local wooded swampy areas. I believe this to be the largest flycatcher in the northeast US.

Excellent image, Warren. One of my favourite birds of the deciduous forest. ( Largest flycatcher in Eastern Canada, as well). The yellow underparts really set off the overall look of this species, as shown so well in your photo.

What a treat to see-lovely setting and detail, and beak open-presumably singing. Not too common here, and usually high up in the trees.
