Nikon D850, Nikon 500mm F5.6 pf
ISO 1000, 1/640s, F5.6

When this image of the Chestnut Sided Warbler was unfolding I thought of Himadri and Clement who capture terrific images of birds with the inclusion of flowers. This was just a fortunate, and not planned out situation, although I wish the dark stem behind it's head was not part of the final image.

very well done on this one in the open and even a flower to work well with-in this frame, well presented as-well WARREN.

This would be an excellent image without the flowers, but they make the image more so, with their presences. Perhaps some post-processing could eliminate the dark stem, but I don't think it detracts from the photo significantly .

Thank you so much Paul. My issue with post processing is.....me. I do not use Photoshop or the equivalent and only tend to use LR Classic + Topaz DeNoise. I only do some basic stuff with my original captures as I'm not well versed in post processing apps and only seem to mess with my images so they are a real life representation of what I viewed naturally. Removing the stem would be OK but without better editing tools I'm OK with this final result. Thanks for your suggestion as it's exactly my thoughts on this image as well.

So nice to get the lovely flowers, and it looks like he is singing. I get it about post-processing.But I think a bit of a crop on the right side would perhaps get rid of the bright leaves and the other black stem. For that matter, some off the left too, making a nearly square crop. Maybe also more than you like to do! Just a thought. Beautiful shot either way. (I Idon't mind the black stem behind the bird).
