CANON 90D
CANON 400mm f5.6L
f8 @ 1/1000
ISO 1600

This Flycatcher was passing through on its' way North to the breeding grounds, from their winter home in the Tropics.
They can be sometimes difficult to detect, due to not being too vocal, and having drab colours, but this individual made a brief appearance for a photograph.

Province of Ontario, Canada image - May 2022.

Great looking image with excellent detail. You must have been close to the bird.

I like the way it's framed by the background leaves, which are out of focus enough to be pleasing without competing for attention with the bird.

Thanks for the comments, Karl.  Actually, I was quite some distance, but the 1.6x crop factor on the 90D, is quite a help with the 400mm,
( 640mm equivalent ), plus cropping on Photoshop.
