Rosy-faced Lovebird
Gilbert, Arizona
D500, 500mm, 1/640, f/5.6, ISO2000

Not native to my area, these lovebirds are descendants of escaped pets.  They are well established now in the area.  They like the fruits of the creosote bush this time of year.

Cool to have them around, I've seen them only in pet stores around here. :)

Beautiful image that I mistook for a watercolor painting. Perfectly composed as well as sharp, yet soft at the same time. Wonderful image.
