This is the same male Prothonotary Warbler posted yesterday except in a very different pose. Most people associate this beautiful species with it's golden glow when seen in the dark wooded swamps, and when viewed from the front. In this case it is seen from behind to get a look at the bird from a different perspective. Wish I had a bit more DOF but this wasn't the shot I was originally looking to get of him. He presented himself very briefly, as anyone who photographs warblers can relate, lol.

Excellent head angle and eye contact Warren. That beautiful yellow head stands out like a beacon. Nicely done.

Really a beautiful pose with a surrounding environment that enhances the colors of this little bird. It really takes incredible craftsmanship to make such admirable shots with species that have such sudden movements.

I really appreciate a "different" pose in any environment! A proud looking bird, and you should be proud too!
