I always think of them as the clowns of the owl world! They are a favorite subject of mine, but I just don’t see them much anymore. Nice, intimate capture of this behavior and great BG.

So entertaining! Cute pose- interesting the difference in the two pupils, presumably from light different perception. I often wonder why they do this iconic head flip. Well done!

+1.  The difference in pupil size attracted me to this image even before the great head tilt.  Womderful timing.
