Nikon D850, Nikon 500mm F5.6 pf
ISO 1,000, 1/1250s, F6.3 This is a different male than yesterdays post. In this image it is looking up and displaying to a female that's higher up in a small tree, rather than the defensive display as shown yesterday. The angle probably looks a bit odd due to it being taken from about 20 feet high, on top of a parking area that is part of a causeway in southern NJ. The males were having a difficult time displaying due to high winds so were forced to display lower in the thickets which made ground level shots impossible. Several branches were removed digitally with LR Classic. Please click for higher resolution. |
