Shot at dusk. We have about 18-25 resident Evening Grosbeaks every year. This was taken just as a storm was coming in the evening, and we took the feeders inside. All the birds were flying around looking for a late dinner. I noticed most of the Grosbeaks we flying together in pairs. Must be that time. Hope to get some male displays, though maybe it's a done deal.

Superb pairing Cindy. Excellent eye contact and quality. Hope the storm wasn't too damaging.

Great-looking pair, and how neat to have them around all the time.

Great looking pair. I'm fortunate to see them once every 10 years in the Winter. You're fortunate to have such a great looking bird year round. Really like the composition and positioning on this image. Well done.

Great to have them side by side. Must be a rare moment. Great image and you are very lucky to have them there.

Super image to get them both in focus in low light, with similar head angles and a clean background. We have this species locally as a wintering bird, but I have yet to capture and image anywhere near this nice.
