Early AM grab shot through a window. (Seems to be my usual view these days!). Never expected to see this bird so close in my yard. Had some help from Topaz for noise and clarity. No matter what the image quality, this viewing made my day. (May 4). I'm still excited!

One of the most beautiful Warblers visited your backyard. I would have been excited as well, never had any warbler so, far. Great shot.

Congrats Cindy !! I know from some of your comments from last year that the Blackburnian is one of you favorite Warblers, and why not !! A real beauty and terrific job getting this image as well as you did, with the memory to go with it.

Thanks Karl.  I agree-a gorgeous warbler to be passing through. We hear others in the woods and around home, but rarely see them. Hope you get some.

Thank you Peter. I was surprised to get that color-such a bright bird for this neck of the woods. :)

I would be happy, too, to see this warbler in front of my window.

How lucky you are Cynthia to be able to spot so many and magnificent specimens. I really like the pose that highlights all the colors on the head and the blur effect on the leaves in the background, perhaps due to the glass?

Thank you Mary. Yes, perhaps the blur is , err...dirty glass! ;). Not sure-bird was very close.

What a treat for you - and for us, Cindy! No wonder this little beauty is a favourite, such glorious colours and markings and lovely angle to get him looking at you to show off those pretty head markings.
