Nikon D850, Nikon 500mm F 5.6 PF
ISO 800, 1/640s, F8.0

While driving home today from a favorite bird feeder set up I noticed this Merlin initially silhouetted as I drove by.  I turned the car around and took a group of images but didn't have any other angle due to the multiple branches.  Since he was only about a hundred yards from the bird feeder I imagine I may get future glimpses of him down the road.

Well spotted and captured. The branches give a good sense of the environment.

even with all the branches here in this shot, it show the merlin with-in his habitat and well taken WARREN.

Good jog dealing with all those branches- the Merlin really stands out, and looks quite natural in this setting.
