Russet-naped Wood Rail
Costa Rica
D850, 500mm, 1/100, f/5.6, ISO2000

The Wood Rails don't seem to be quite as shy and secretive as many other Rails are.  This one came by a few times while we were at the blind.

Classic rail pose with superb detail and colours, Cindy! The reflection adds the finishing touch to this excellent shot.

well taken of this wood rail, this is a first for me to see one, with a great presentation of this rail and the reflection of it in the water is a added bonus, great stuff CINDY.

Fantastic image of this colorful rail in its habitat, Cindy. I particularly like the lighting and the vertical composition to include the reflection.
