Excellent photo,Axel, of a species that can be challenging to photograph stationary; but even more challenging, in-flight. Certainly, a special image !

There is a good reason why we don't get images of this speedy kingfisher in flight, Axel - they go so fast. You have done a great job in capturing this one at max speed, and tack sharp - giving a beautiful view of its lovely wing and tail markings. Wonderful shot!

I marvel at this-such an elusive bird, perfectly captured in flight, no less. Love seeing the wingspread and markings. Spot on!!

Fantastic image of a difficult species. Great angle with nice wing and tail spread that shows the feather patterns very well. Tack sharp and a nice color palette.

Outstanding image of a really tough bird to get in flight. Not enough superlatives to hand out for this one. Wonderful work.
