The female is hard to find when you have a lot of Mallards around
in a limited open water area.

The light, low angle, and the action of the moving foot all make for a very nice image.

Love the light on this beautiful Widgeon-it's rare to see all her colors-especially the tawny flanks. Glad you sorted her out from the mallards. Raised foot a plus as is the pretty water.
