Juncos are here for the winter months, and migrate north for the spring to fall seasons. Usually, quite an active species, but at times like all birds, have a period of rest, as this one was doing.

Thanks for viewing my image, Axel.  It was taken a few weeks ago, and if I recall it was in the mid 20's F.  Colder tonight near 0 F. - where is the global warming !
