Your photograph shows very well how the Creeper blends in with their environment , Neil. Certainly, a challenging species very often to locate and photograph, from my experience.

When I see photos like this it's such a great reminder of how hard they are to find because of the great camouflage, I don't feel quite as bad about not finding them very often :) . Nice pose with it peering in to the crack in the bark.

They have such amazing camouflage Neil as this shows. Often, its the movement that gives them away. Super shot of it doing what it does best. Nice one!

Perfect illustration of their habitat and behavior. Kudos for catching this one-so hard to get!

You did well to spot this, they are so good at becoming a part of the tree bark they are foraging in. Well spotted and taken, Neil!

Great looking shot. Terrific look at his camouflage. Almost looks like it's looking for a nesting site as they tend to nest under bark that's been pulled away from the trunk or in crevices.
