I found an interesting pattern on the water and just waited for the Widgeon to swim into. Most of the visible part of the Bay is frozen over now.

I think you meant to say Green Winged Teal, Karl - the patterns and colours on the water are beautiful! Good thinking to wait for this beauty to swim into this colourful patch!

Thanks Carol. I happen to have American Widgeons from the same day but obviously this is the GWTE. My bad.

Certainly great colours, and interesting patterns from the water, captured here. The ice in the background, is a nice touch, as well, Karl.
