R5, RF100-500 @ 343mm, 1/2500s, f/5.6, ISO 2500, manual

Yesterday before the snowstorm a lot of birds visited my feeder. This Bluebird checked out the menu before landing. I was quite impressed how well the 100-500 focused as the bird was in the shade and the background sunny.

A very unique image, Axel- not too many in-flight bluebird photographs taken, I'm certain.( The Canon 100-500 RF, has been a great lens for you, and for many other photographers, from the reviews I have seen. )

Cool image. Don't see that flying pose very often, nicely done.

An image to say the least extraordinary,
I really like the almost patrolling attitude, I love the colors and details of this small specimen and the background so clear.

Gorgeous image, Axel! What a wonderful view of this tiny beauty - I can almost 'feel' the softness of that beautiful plumage - it looks so real, I keep expecting it to move.

Sweet as can be-love the story too. Love the pose-so unusual to see for a bluebird.
