This is the same bird as in my recent previous post. The weather was extremely changeable during the short amount of time I spent photographing him.  It was always windy but at times sunny and then a brief snow squall. This image was taken when it was very gusty and he went up against the shoreline to apparently help protect himself from the wind. It was one of the shots which best showed the head feathers which makes for a "bad hair day."

Excellent details Warren. The weather, as mentioned has helped show off those wonderful head feathers. Super shot.

Love this one too, Warren. Great showing of the "hairdo". Makes him look especially alert and perky.

Nice set up shot (you applied just enough hair gel)...But seriously, it's interesting and well taken.

Got to love this one, Warren!  So full of character - whether wind assisted or not. :)
