Nikon D 850, Nikon 500mm F5.6 pf
ISO 640, 1/1,000s, F6.3 This image was taken earlier this year on a cold windy day. It was my first opportunity to photograph this type of merganser at close range. When seen live he looks to be a wild looking bird partially due to it's bad hair day and serrated beak. I wrestled a bit with keeping the image straight but no matter how I turned it something always appeared off . This is the final result. Please click for higher resolution. |
