This little fellow was one of my favorite encounters from last winters trip to Yellowstone. Eagerly looking forward to returning this winter.

Canon 5DMkIV, 600mm & 1.4x, Gitzo Tripod & BH-55 Ballhead
Manual Settings, using spot meter, 1/500; f9; ISO800

Excellent composition, in your photo, Ken, very different with the combination of the owl, stump, and snow.

Love the composition and habitat elements included in this shot of the Pygmy Owl. Goes to show that even in Yellowstone some of the best things come in small packages.
