I was standing on a narrow boardwalk water both sides, and a Swan family with two Signets way too close for a 500 lens, so I opted for a head shot.

Very pleasing comp, colors and detail. The duckweed adds to the image.

The detail in this is fantastic. The graceful curve of the neck, the duckweed covered bill, nice soft background, make this a wonderful image.

Such majestic and beautiful birds, always good to see any of the different swan species, Karl - especially when the image is as lovely as this!

A very nice image, Karl; the weed and the wet feathers, give the photo an interesting look- great colours as always.

The details and background are superb. The duckweed on the neck and beak add a lot to this image in my opinion.

A wonderful pose of the neck and the head that give the elegance belonging to these magnificent animals,
very beautiful the light and the duckweed on the beak.
