Belted Kingfisher, female
Gilbert, Arizona
Nikon D500, 500mm, 1/3200, f/6.3, ISO800

I missed the plunge, just a bit out of view, so was quite happy that this little girl flew past me relatively close with her snack.  Normally these birds stay well away.

you definitely nailed the shot and the kingfisher really nailed the fish, you can even see the beak of the fisher coming out of the fish, well taken CINDY.

Such a fine flight shot-as you say, they are usually so shy. Love the fish.

Excellent flight shot. The fish in the beak is a bonus.
