Black-necked Stilt female

Nikon D500, 500mm f/5.6 PF, 1/2500, f/8, ISO800

I'm drawn to the lines, angles and patterns of stilts and their reflections.

Such beautiful birds from any angle, and I agree they have wonderful lines and angles. I also love their large and gorgeous eyes. You have captured a fine two for one with this superb image and reflection, Cindy!

Once in a while, a photograph becomes art. If it wasn't for the wonderful feather detail, I would think that this was completely computer generated. Wonderfully thought out, and expertly executed. It is gorgeous.

Absolutely stunning reflection. the smooth and uniform blue background created by the water give this image a striking graphic quality. Love it.
