I was photographing this lesser yellowlegs wading in a pond in Montezuma Wildlife Refuge near Seneca Falls NY when it decided to take off.  I was fortunate to get this exact moment. Canon R5 with RF 100-500 and 1.4 TC, hand held, 1/2000, F10, ISO 3200. Details show best when you click on image.

Fabulous timing Ed. The bottom toe is barely touching the water.

Nice detail in this action take off, Ed. You did well as the choppy water surface shows there was quite a breeze!

A very unique image, Ed. The colours and the patterns of the water, compliment those of the Yellowlegs, in your photo. An excellent display of the
legs, captured here, as well.

Nice timing, certainly tough to capture this kind of behavior! As Paul said the water color and patterns are a very nice complement to the bird.
