This was taken on my Florida trip awhile back. This was the only spoonbill I saw during my two day stay, so I was glad to have the opportunity to make a few photographs of this one in the early morning light.

The colours and the lighting on the spoonbill, stand out so well against the dark background, in your image, John. The reflection in the water, are a
nice addition to the photo, as well.

The "spotlight" effect on this with the dark background is just lovely.

This is really lovely-the reflections, glowing light, and dark background are especially pleasing.

Love the way you handled the difficult lighting. The colors of the Spoonie really pop.
