On the beach

Magpie-lark (Grallina cyanoleuca) is not a shorebird, but here it is striding down the beach. This is an adult male, the horizontal black line through the eye with the white brow is the identifier, the female has a black line down through the eye and a white throat. Very widespread bird in Australia.
