 Gilbert, Arizona Nikon D500, 500mm f/5.6 PF, 1/1000, f/8, ISO1000 This wayward young Roseate Spoonbill spent nearly a year far from home here in Arizona, giving the local photographers a real treat. This bird was unfazed by human presence, often walking within feet of people who were sitting or standing quietly. "Rosie" first appeared on 24 Sept 2020, I last saw it 2 weeks ago. Not sure if it's finally taken off for "home" or just on a short wander nearby somewhere. Time will tell. Cindy Marple
