I read on the internet: "The coolest Bird on the Planet"
When I failed to see it first time, I did not want to go back. Then I woke up at 4:00 AM in the morning and I felt that I would have to give it an other try and I did.

Nothing beats getting a great image of a bird you set out to get, the planning, getting to the area, and then getting a nice flight shot!!
Congrats, Karl, well earned.

You certainly made the most of the opportunity! Nice head-on flight shot showing that swallow-tail so well.

Nicely captured, the sharpness on the eye and bill is excellent. Can't trust everything on the internet, I think that title belongs to the light-mantled sooty albatross!
