I'm glad you were able to photograph this very special bird, Karl- I'm sure that many viewers are enjoying your Kite images. One of my favourite
photographs from you, and no doubt an image that you are very proud of. It's all so good, especially to me, the colours.

Well this is quite a species to get for the first lifer in 2 years! Beautiful light on this and the background is so pretty. Nice pose and good eye contact.

Great shot Karl. One of my favorite birds that breed here in mid-Florida. Several thousand hang around here until the first of August and then take off for South America. Congrats on the photo - excellent details and framing.

Terrific image as a standalone image, without knowing the background. A real beauty. Congrats on your achievement of getting such a nice shot of your lifer. I'm sure it was a thrill.
