A very sharp, detailed image, Peter, with good lighting, and a "classic pose ". We don't see too many photos of scarlet tanagers, other than males
in their breeding plumage, so this image is special in that regard. ( I'm guessing that this is a female, but perhaps a male in non-breeding plumage? ).

The lighting, composition, and details are all terrific. I like the inclusion of the leaves in the background also.

Peter, Excellent details. Might have moved the Tanager a bit higher in the frame, if the image allowed?

Nice exposure and pose of this Tanager in Fall migration. Count me in as liking the out of focus leaves in the background.
