Continuing with drab desert wrens, here's a Cactus Wren on- you guessed it- a cactus!  (Well, the spine of a dead cholla, anyway).

A fine portrait of this nicely posed wren with a good head turn, sweet detail and lovely complementary earth tones colour palette, Cindy!

Cindy, Excellent pose, eye contact, and dof. Might have brought down the exposure on the Chola?

Another very nice wren image. This one is a classic pose for most birds and is very well done for a wren. The perch is a perfect compliment to the bird.

Great look-back pose and details, Cindy. The perch and light look great, too.

Spunky looking wren- aren't they sassy though? Nice pose and "attitude"-pretty light too.
