Brilliant capture Gene. Remarkable details, even to its dinner.

If I was really picky I would prefer the beak and rodent catch to not be in front of the cactus, but its a fine view of predator carrying off its prey, Gene.

Nice action capture. The cactus gives a sense of the habitat.

Amazing in flight action shot. Ever since they (mice) moved into my car's trunk and did some damage, I don't like them.

Karl, In the country with open engines on tractors, etc. mice can certainly cause lots of problems.  They especially like to eat wires.  Someone told me to put mothballs around wirings and the mice will stay away.  Gave it a try and it worked.  Mothballs are not the best smell in a trunk of a car, but it works.
