This is my second in a short series of Egret shots in a dense fog from a couple of years ago.  In this one, what appears to be a female Wood Duck crosses over the Egrets reflection without any sign that either bird acknowledged the presence of the other.

Please click for higher resolution, but due to the fog their is a lack of sharpness.

Again, a lovely mood Warren. Lack of sharpness not even a tiny issue as the fog has enveloped these two into their own world, and the fog by definition, gives that lovely soft, ethereal effect.

a nice one in the fog but I would of waited for the duck to pass, that is me, other wise you got what you were aiming for WARREN.

Neither feels threatened by the other, so they carry on doing their own thing - but they are definitely aware of each other. Another lovely mood image with the dreamy enveloping fog, but my favourite is still your first one in the series!

I actually do have one where the duck had passed through. My aim with this image was for the overlapping of the duck with the egrets reflection.  In this case, it would have been better had there been no fog. Thanks for your thoughts.

So beautiful...love this series-. I like the interaction here-a sweet combination.
