R5, 500f4, 1.4x, 1/2000s, f/5.6, ISO 1600, manual

The juvenile Herring Gull and the crab had a little moment before the gull started doing its thing. As you can imagine, it didn't end too well for the crab.

Crabs last stand! At least the crab didn’t go down without a fight, but he had no chance against the giant. Great behavioral image.

This is one of those rare images that to me has" heart". If one picture is worth a 1,000 words, you can feel life playing out before your eyes in this one. Really a fantastic image.
