Nikon D810, Nikon 300mm F2.8
ISO 400, 1/2000s, F 6.3, Beanbag from car. Two years ago at this time of year I took an annual drive to Montezuma Wildlife Refuge in Upstate NY in order to look for migrating herons and ducks. Instead, partly because it was so cool and calm, it was completely enveloped in thick fog for the entire morning. Since it was a 3 hour drive I stayed for 4 hours and took the brief opportunities that presented themselves. This is the first of a 3 shot series in the fog. Please click for higher resolution, but it will not appear very sharp due to the fog. |
