Cape May Warbler
Setophaga tigrina

Another migrant making a refueling stop in our yard.  We've seen quite a few this year, (but never in the Spring), and this one is definitely one of the more colorful individuals (for non-breeding plumage.)

1/160, f/5.6, ISO 1600
Natural light

Comments and suggestions appreciated.

A terrific look at one of my favorite warblers, in Spring or Fall plumage. Great use of depth of field makes the bird jump off the image providing a 3D look.

Lovely placement in frame and a really sweet image of this pretty species in the soft light, Craig.
