This is a male Black and White Warbler singing earlier this Spring. Whenever I think about the striking warblers of the Spring, the Black and White never seems to come to mind.  However, every time I see one I'm reminded by just how striking a black and white bird can be.

Great calling pose and I like the pattern of the little branches.

Black and white plumage really does have a beauty of its own, Warren. This lovely image with your subject framed so prettily with the delicate twigs - and singing his little heart out, shows that off so well!

Brilliant pose Warren. Singing its heart out and the black and white plumage matched by the pattern of the little twigs.
Make your life spectacular!

As always, an excellent image; and extra special photographed singing.( Certainly a very attractive species, perhaps because the black and white
colouration is so different from that of other warblers.)
