Nikon D850, Nikon 500mm F5.6 pf
ISO 400, 1/1000s, F6.3 This is a male Yellow Warbler in breeding plumage earlier in the Spring. Yellow Warblers are common in my area but can be a bit skiddish and not closely approachable. As I have not been able to get out much the past few weeks due to family issues I'm posting several more warblers I photographed earlier. Other members have recently posted some nice images of warblers during this Fall migration. In this image he lit on the branch only momentarily as can be seen by his left foot already moving to begin takeoff. Please click for higher resolution. |
