Swallow-tailed Gull

Certainly the prettiest gull I've ever seen. These are primarily nocturnal birds!

Certainly, a very striking looking gull; the slight upturn of the head, is a nice touch to the image. The ocean colours, compliment the gulls' colours,
very well, also.

Great-looking gull species and the BG complements it really well. The red eye ring seems to be much more prominent than in Sabine's or Ivory Gulls.

The slight upturn of the head and red ringed eye make the shot ...
Terrific flight capture, Cindy!

This is really an overall striking image. The gull is in a wonderful pose and the breaking sea adds a terrific background.
