The branch has a nice graceful curve that makes a pleasing composition. Always good to get a warbler in such an open situation with a pretty background!

Very nice image, Craig. Excellent detail captured on the warbler, ( and the perch ). Any thoughts on the subject being a juvenile male, or
a juvenile female ?

Thank you, Paul!  I *think* the colored throat is indicative of a mature individual, but in Fall plumage I’m just guessing male because of the “rich” colors (although nothing like their breeding plumage).

Great looking image of this Fall migrating warbler. I also believe this is a male Blackburnian in Fall plumage as I photographed a Spring adult female this year and it looks different than this as it's colors were still less intense and had a duller overall look.
