Golden Plover

With the help of a local in Iceland, I found this little stretch where there were quite a few species of birds that we cannot get very close to easily in the UK. This being one of them.

D500, 500mm, f8, 1/400th, ISO200, full frame.

Excellent, low angle image of the appropriately named Golden Plover. Great that you were able to get it calling in such a nice setting.
