This is one of those birds that you just have to wonder "how can it fly with that tail!"

Now isn't that the prettiest thing! What a beautiful image, Cindy, with bird and blossom superbly taken and presented. A pleasure to view!

A beautiful bird, photographed with a very attractive perch. Nice to see a hummingbird image taken without a multi-flash system, as so many of them
seem to be. Somewhat different to see a hummingbird perched while feeding( as opposed to hovering); captured so well here. The blue
in the tail, and the orange in the flower, are great contrasting colours, in your photo, Cindy.

great shot on the bird and the bg is a perfect match for the image but for me the flower is to gigantic for the bird size it looks lost in it, good one CINDY.

Wonderful image of the Sylph on one of it's host flowers. As per your post, you have to wonder why the adaptation of the extra long tail. In any event, it's a beautiful bird and wonderfully presented with a great composition and perfect complimentary background.

Beautiful bird, great pose and iridescence. The perch works great to complement the plumage.
